About Archers De Santa Fe
About Us
Archers de Santa Fe is an all-volunteer run, 501(c)3 nonprofit that has been the leading archery club in Santa Fe since 1973. Our members include hunters and recreational shooters, traditional and compound archers, beginners, experts, and people looking to enjoy time outside with family and friends.
Over the past 50 years, the club has existed in different iterations and our range has been located at various sites around the City Different. Our current range is 100 acres and is located in the Caja del Rio near the Marty Sanchez golf course on the westside of Santa Fe.
Our range is open to traditional and compound bows and we have more than a dozen targets across the property for both field tips and broadheads. Our main range has a covered shooting area and targets ranging from 20 to 60 yards. Broadheads are not allowed on the main range, but we have a number of foam broadhead targets scattered across the rest of the range on the main two-track heading south from the parking area. Members are also welcome to bring their own targets to the range. There is no place to shoot firearms at Archers de Santa Fe.
What We Do
Archers de Santa Fe hosts two annual shoots. At the end of April, we host a kids shoot at our range, and in early June, we host a 3D shoot at Fenton Lake State Park, which attracts archers from around the state. Archers de Santa Fe also hosts a weekly 3D shoot on Wednesday nights from early April to the end of August for both members and nonmembers.
As a volunteer-run organization, we depend on our membership to maintain and improve the club so that it can continue to serve hunters and recreational archers in northern New Mexico for the next 50 years. Every year we use any proceeds to improve our members’ experience by buying new targets, hosting range clean up days, and making other improvements to the range.
